100% online, self-paced training — no classroom, no commute. Study from anywhere in New Westminster on your own schedule.
If you're in New Westminster and looking to work with children in a licensed BC child care setting, the Responsible Adult Course gives you everything you need — entirely online. There's no classroom to drive to and no fixed schedule to work around; you study from home, at your own pace, whenever it suits you.
We serve students across Metro Vancouver, along with Queensborough, Sapperton, and Uptown, and anywhere else in British Columbia — since the course is fully online, your location never limits your access to training.
If you're actively looking for work, you may be able to have the full cost of training covered through the New Westminster WorkBC Centre or another WorkBC location serving Metro Vancouver. Learn how WorkBC funding works and how to apply.
Once certified, you can work in school age group child care, occasional child care, and as a short-term substitute for ECE assistants in licensed facilities — anywhere in British Columbia, including throughout Metro Vancouver.
Complete your Responsible Adult Course online and receive your certificate upon successful completion. Study at your own pace and start immediately.
