The process is straightforward. Here's how most students apply for funding:
Request an appointment with a WorkBC Employment Counsellor.
You and your counsellor will discuss your job goals and the best path to reach them.
If this course fits your plan, your counsellor can request funding for the Online Responsible Adult Course (25 hours, self-paced) from Head Start Online School. Funding isn't guaranteed and depends on meeting WorkBC's requirements.
If approved, WorkBC will contact us directly to arrange payment. We'll set up your course access so you can begin right away. If funding is not approved, you are still welcome to enroll independently at any time.
If you have already received funding approval, you'll receive an email with your login details to get started. If you prefer to enroll independently, you can register any time.
